Genetic Frontiers is a space for a more expansive cultural conversation about the promise, power, and perils of genetic information.
We talk to guest experts about this moment we’re living in—where genetic discoveries are propelling new, personalized medical treatments but also posing ethical dilemmas and emotional quandaries. In many ways, we are wildly unprepared for how genetic information can influence our lives.

Genetic Frontiers is a collaboration between host, Susanna Smith & executive producer, Brandy Mello. Brandy is a former software developer, teacher, video & film producer, novelist and Jill of all trades. Brandy & Susanna met at Mile High Writers’ Workshop in Denver. Genetic Frontiers is produced from Asheville, NC and Denver, CO.
