THE TELL ME PROJECT
I understand how genetic information can upend your life. It did mine. If things you’ve learned about your DNA have rocked you, we invite you to share your story in a supportive space.
Our DNA is our most personal data.
It can shape our relationships and our sense of family, identity, health and our future.
WHAT IS THE TELL ME PROJECT?
The Tell Me Project is an exercise in deep listening; a safe space to feel heard when you talk about about your relationship with your DNA.
At The Tell Me Project we are listening, learning, and - when appropriate - sharing stories about how our relationships with our DNA are changing our lives.
“Listening to and understanding our inner sufferings will resolve most of the problems we encounter.”
WHO WILL I BE TALKING TO?
Susanna Smith, a health coach and the Genetic Frontiers podcast host.If you’d just like to share your story with Susanna, she’s here to listen.
As a previvor of genetic disease herself, she finds it healing to connect with other people whose lives have been upended by genetic information.
WILL MY STORY BE RECORDED?
If you give permission, your story will be recorded. This is not a requirement. We are happy to talk off the record, too!
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH MY STORY?
If you are open to it, we will consider your story for future episodes of the Genetic Frontiers podcast. If your story is selected to be featured on an episode, we will get back in touch to ask if you are still comfortable sharing your story.
